AQ ROTW Selected Top 50

A 2016 celebration zine, commemorating Aquarius Records' 20 years at its Valencia location by spotlighting 50 reviews of “Record of the Week” from its weekly mailing list. For all of those years, the staff produced a newsletter with potentially hundreds of new release reviews, giving no preference to popularity and often waxing endlessly about esoteric obsessions. This geekery has been appreciated by many, catapulting obscure, weirdo recordings by the likes of the Conet Project into hundreds of households.
