Beastie Boys Play 5 speaker

In 2018, Sonos commissioned a Beastie Boys-branded version of its high-end Play 5 speaker. The group, in turn, asked Barry McGee to design the graphics. This collaboration yielded a limited edition of 300 units. which immediately sold out.

This speaker has been gently used and is in like new condition. It’s been factory reset and comes with its original box and packaging. As a bonus, I’m including printed correspondence between Sonos and Barry McGee’s gallery, negotiating the terms of the deal.

This Play 5 is the exact same Play 5 that Sonos sells today, apart from the external graphics. This is a kick-ass speaker. Can be paired with another Play 5 if you want, but I’m not a Sonos employee so I can’t sell you that.
