Mark McCloud's 20th Street Victorian in the Mission is packed floor to ceiling with art and ephemera of the LSD trade. Officially dubbed "The Institute of Illegal Images," it's informally known as the "LSD Museum." For a long time, all one had to do was knock on his door - weekends best - for an impromptu tour of this completely mind-melting shrine to psychedelic folk art.

McCloud has twice been arrested and prosecuted - unsuccessfully - for his alleged role in LSD production. He maintains his innocence and defines his role twofold - to preserve the legacy of the art form and to design/manufacture perforated paper designs. What people do with the prints once they leave his possession is not his responsibility.

Anyone who has experienced LSD has probably received a small, torn, colored square of paper to consume. Few have seen the larger designs that these are detached from. Available here are full sheets of blotter art produced from 90s-2010, acquired from McCloud. Some are signed, like a fine art print. Frame them or eat them, that's up to you.

Final disclaimer: this is just paper. It is not illegal. Sold for artistic value only.
