The late David King - most well-known for his design of the logo for the band Crass - had a long and storied career. Aside from his omnipotent logos and stencils, he also self-published many zines. Most of his zines employ street photography interspersed with found images.

Whatever! #2: Music-oriented fanzine from San Francisco circa 1994, featuring a cover illustration by King. Interview with Mekons and various reviews.

Sleeping Dogs #2: Slick second issue of this politically-charged 80s photozine with some appropriated articles, original art, and essays. The title also encompasses King's band, with releases on Crass Records.

Beware #2 #3 #4: A B/W photo zine with stark, atmospheric appropriated images, circa 1980s.

Too Many Zombies #1 #6: Similar to Beware.

7 Teen: Self-produced zine circa 2017 featuring purloined photos with King's signature detournements. The imagery is more whimsical than past efforts, and employs his colorful stencils that embodied his revisiting of the logo work he did in 2011. Numbered 1 out of 15 copies produced.
