Fringe Ware Review #4

Issue #4 of this Austin, TX based zine from 1994, special theme: "chicks in psyberspace" (sic). Here we highlight the many women who were contributing to online culture and illuminating what the internet actually was before a real web existed. Mentions of virtual reality and the tantalizing promise of open communication without human borders appear here... alongside women's actual realities, both online and offline. Genius titled piece called "Daemon Obstacles and the Female Unix" give you an idea of the 90s era cyber humor within. Adjacent themes of alien conspiracy abound.
