IAO Core

IAO Core was an experimental San Francisco Bay Area band formed in 1987 that played with many an industrial/avant garde/noise act and released half a dozen albums. At one point early in their career, they counted Drew Daniel and MC Schmidt as members, who would eventually start their own electronic group Matmos.

This zine has 1990 SF zeitgeist all over it, with its TOPY-inspired art, political paranoia, and oddly pagan-meets-rave aesthetic. It’s a Temporary Autonomous Zine.
