Missed Connections

In 1990, at 19 years old, I placed an ad in a teen magazine looking for penpals who liked the New Kids on the Block. I had never actually heard this group. I used a high school photo. I received over 300 letters. The most interesting of those became this zine, names redacted. Originally published in 1991, It's an emotional journey into fandom, cursive wonderland, unrequited love, and teenage alienation. 

Each time I make a new edition, I update the inner cover with a new message. This has been made new again for 2026.
