Pola-reds

A wonderful book of photos by Jack Johnston aka Jack Fan taken in 1978-1979. Jack would come home after a night of careening around San Francisco and go into full selfie mode - taking Polaroids and stuffing them into boxes - only to rediscover them decades later. Jack was not limited to photos, and in fact was a very prolific creator of zines, flyers, and other graphic art. A colleague of the Offs, he designed their single's cover, and also roadied for them. His zines 20aMPC - made for shows he attended at the Deaf Club - and Anti-Zine show a distinct design sensibility.
