Some Hope and Some Despair #4

Circa 2001 from the late Lance Hahn (J Church,  Cringer) who left this planet way too early. Cracking this open, I'm reminded of his congeniality, and enthusiasm for a wide array of music (anarcho punk, free jazz, noise), reading glowing pieces on the Fucking Champs and others. Then I saw his takedown of pretentious post-hardcore "art" bands and I laughed that someone as nice as Lance had a pissy side... or at least was so unafraid to be opinionated. Throwback photo spreads of the Mummies and Doom, rants and raves indeed, you've been missed.
