Stroker is to punk rock zines what Melvins are to punk rock. Take the volume, excess, and abrasiveness of heavy metal and filter it through a more refined, critical, yet unironic and thoroughly appreciative lens. Interviews with Acid King, Old Grandad, Altamont, Dead Moon, as well as an in-depth historical piece on the Scorpions. Also, a history of the double bass drum explained by Tim Soete of the Fucking Champs.
