Alternately titled "The Spirit of Solitude." Two volume set, first edition, published in 1929 on Mandrake Press. Condition is excellent. No serious imperfections other than cover yellowing, more pronounced on second volume and spine. Corners are slightly bent. Page yellowing minor. Gilded top edge still bright. Second volume contains errata slip. Not much else to say on these books that you can't read elsewhere. Very scarce.
