From Bobby Sullivan, better known as singer for a multitude of DC bands like Soul Side and Rain Like The Sound of Trains comes this odd manifesto of sorts. It's a pastiche of writings mainly focused on diet - specifically veganism - but also interspersed with justifications for food choices that are based on both health and global politics. The writing contains many citations to other publications on food, so you can further research his views. Whether or not I want to follow his dietary and ideological path after reading this is questionable, but what is undeniable is that this is a prime example of "personal as political" - relating one's own daily habits to their potential impact on the world at large. File under food, global politics, DC punk.
