You might know Cazwell, the NY rapper with viral hits like "I Seen Beyonce (in a Burger King)" and "Watch My Mouth" and his omnipresence on the NYC club scene. It's no accident - he's been working hard for years. Many years. In fact, this demo is the only record of his very earliest Boston days trying to make a name for himself in the gay rap game, long before it actually manifested. Recorded in 1997 and released in 1998, this is definitely proto-homohop. After this demo was released, he changed the name of his group to Morplay, and the internet knows a little about that.
